CloudRING was started by Yuri Trukhin, who is its lead maintainer. The code, roadmap and decisions are public on GitHub.
How the project works
The project is human-led and AI-assisted. The lead maintainer sets direction, reviews changes and decides what’s accepted. AI agents help write code, run tests, review changes and draft documentation, and their changes to the repository go through the same pull requests and checks as anyone else’s. AI tools also helped draft this website.
Money
CloudRING doesn’t sell anything, and it isn’t asking for or accepting money.
